Construction

The yoke is worked flat in stockinette stitch with raglan increases and additional shaping along the front neckline edges to create the overlap. After separating the sleeves, the overlapping fronts are completed and the body stitches are held while the double-knit front and neckline band is worked. The first tie grows from this band, while the second tie is picked up at the body band under the arm. The sleeves are then worked in the round with shaping before the double-knit cuffs.
